the "eggs" here are time bombs that activate when they see you
if you don't destroy them before they go off then they kill you no matter where you are
here, two of them are on rotating platforms, you have to kill both at about the same time
here you are surrounded (half the room is shown), no time to aim, you need to rotate and shoot wildly
here the bombs are separated by a force field that you can't shoot through
when you walk down the hall they both trigger
the problems get harder with conveyor belts to slow you down and other tricks
